Founded in 2018, Gradient Dance Theater and Community has been Birmingham, Alabama's home for accessible dance education, professional dance training and artistic performance. April 4th, 1-3pm at The Dance Foundation
Watermark follows a curious girl whose daydreams lead her beyond the shoreline and into a mesmerizing underwater realm. As she explores this luminous world alongside fellow divers, she encounters the Spirit of the Sea itself. What begins as an adventure transforms into a deeper awakening, revealing both the magic and vulnerability hidden beneath the waves. Through movement and imagery, Watermark asks what it means to witness, to harm, and to ultimately protect our oceans.
Gyrokinesis® Workshop
Gyrokinesis® is for every body. Whether you dance professionally or simply love to move, this workshop will improve posture, increase mobility and bring greater awareness to how you move through the world.
